ProgressPosted by Team Manager Sun, August 15, 2010 12:48:17
15th August 2010There are several short announcements I wish to share with you today but firstly I want to send our best wishes to Colin who is in hospital having some treatment for chest pains. The good news is that the Doctors have found nothing to worry about and all being well will discharge him tomorrow.

As we have frequently shared with you over the previouse months the information relating to propellor or fan blade technology. It's sometimes hard to comprehend that so much noise and vibration can be caused by such a small piece of plastic but the truth is "it is a real issue".............................. or was !!!!!. Ah "I hear you say". "
Is a solution round the corner at long last ?". Er, well.............er, I suppose so. I say I suppose so because we will be only selling the product on-line and this well entail some up-dates to the web site to allow this to happen. I am informed that we will be creating a on-line shop for purchase of said blade wich will be a direct replacement for the one most frequently used today. The main difference being that it produces greater air flow and reduction in vibration/noise. I will inform you of when it becomes available in dure course. As always, just show a little patience and we will deliver the goods.

Finally, I hear rumours from beyond the
e-bay grave that the world of
Hovercraft has been wakening up to what we have had to say about "Ugly Sticky Patches" on the hull in order to suggest the product has been strengthened. Our in-box this week confirmed that one manufacturer out their had rather a bad "Reaction" to this comment. However, I stand by the truth and a patch is a patch and an admission of catastrophic failure can oly be addressed by the production of a totally new design and material use.
Keep watching as the worlds finest goes from strength to strength.

ProgressPosted by Team Manager Sun, August 08, 2010 14:09:06Whilst the summer has finaly got here to the UK, the mood in the camp is very eager to make the most of the uninterupted time that is benefited from some of our collegues having as much as 3 months break (lucky them).

Lots of technical research has been created over the last 12 months, some of real value and some we already knew. However, if attention to detail and quality is to be the final word, all this hard work will benefit the customer in the end.
I know that the lucky ones amongst you will be servicing your craft and dusting them down ready for some serious fun on the beaches, rivers and lakes arround the British Isle's, don't forget the hazards that are often beneath the water and hidden from view and spend a little time (important & valuable) assessing the situatuion and preparing for any problems that may arrise.
For those who are gossiping about a pending launch in the America's, I am not allowed at this time to confirm or deny this but I would say stay posted for a very major announcement in the near future.

I would wish you all a very pleasent time on your summer holidays and if you take your hovercraft with you, please feel free to post your mobile phone or video footage onto out sites where allowed to do so for all to enjoy.
All the best

ProgressPosted by Team Manager Sun, July 25, 2010 14:28:53Just a small posting this week as I am still awaiting clearance in regards to additional information relating to developments at
F1 Hoverpod Racing.
There has been a major response to the research that was undertaken by one of the worlds best in research and developments and this relates to composit and materials used. I'm not at liberty to provide any information as to who has conducted said research but suffice to say that they are a world leader and specialise in aviation and marine technology.
The breakthroughn relates to weave and fibre techology which is at the core of making and hovercraft work efficiently and is an area that many amateur manufactuting organisations fail to focus upon, the result being a totaly inferior product to which will at some point have a major failure of the hull construction to which if attention to detail would have avoided and attended to at an early stage if the research had been correctly undertaken and acted upon. All of these issues could be considered cost reducing methods but the result is always a cheap and nast result in the end.
F1 Hoverpod Ltd and it's manufacture partner
F1 Hoverpod Manufacture ltd have commited much time and effort into working with the worlds best in order to identify and produce the worlds best.
Watch this space to keep informed about the result and outcome.

ProgressPosted by Team Manager Fri, July 09, 2010 07:40:53Formula Hoverpod® Racing
The summer of 2010 in the Northern Hemisphere has finally
arrived and the World Cup Football Competition has got off to a surprising
start with many of the predicted big teams who were expected to go a long way
in the competition, already on the plane going back home and that includes the
big names such as France, Italy, England & Brazil. Followed by Portugal and
Argentina with a rather disappointing performance from all the African Nations
of which a lot was expected from some of them which was a major let down to all
the football supporters expecting a breakthrough from an African Team at last.
For the F1
Hoverpod Racing program, it’s business as usual. The interest shown in Formula Hoverpod as a series has
widened to include both Australia and India
with good expectations from both of these nations expected to develop as time
goes on. As expected, the controversy surrounding the new propeller blade
ranges from gossip to liable but all will be put to bed when we reveal the
technology in the very near future.
A personal thank you to all the hovercraft fraternity who
keep reporting the statements from the Hovplod
abusers and we have followed them all up and whilst I cant say too much, action
is under way. The only problem being that one can sue, but sue what ?. The
accounts show a huge hole in the bank balance and whilst it’s expected that
ebay will probably benefit from the cheapness of the product, we are not
confident of any damages claim against a company which has been failing for so
long and with such consistency of accounting irregularity.
We hope all the HCGB racing goes well through the summer and
the good weather holds up for you guys.
Keep the support coming guys as this helps to keep the good
atmosphere working well at F1HP, the Reaction is something we can all predict.
It normally goes like
"blah blah blah" but the amateur nature
of the abuse is easily dealt with by professionals. Watch this space for an
update shortly...............................oh and a result.

ProgressPosted by Team Manager Sat, March 27, 2010 18:32:11I made you all a promisse for 2010 to which I will do my very best to keep to. The promisse was to inform you when news or official Press Release was cleared to publish.
I can now confirm that I have full permission to publish that in 2009 F1 Hoverpod Racing applied for Trade Mark Status and Official Registration of the word Hoverpod in Australia to support its Registration in the UK gained some time ago. It was confirmed officially by the Trade Mark Office in Australia that after lots of negotiation and complying with rules etc, the Trade Mark Hoverpod was recognised and fully accepted in Australia which now pathes the way for the proposed expansion in Australia.
Keep watchin for up dates and future Press Release's soon.

ProgressPosted by Team Manager Tue, March 23, 2010 20:30:07Many positive things to bring you all up to spec with this month.
Firstly, to all our twitter followers who now post so many jokes and funnies our way, thank you. They have been quite amusing and for those who wish to join in, our “Twitter” site is at www.twitter.com/f1hoverpod
The in-box has had lots of those usual comments this month in regards to the “All New Fan/Propeller Blade” which is presently being tested at a well known University, the results are extremely encouraging at this stage and all will be revealed when the Technical Team sign off......................... Be patient !!!!, it will be worth it.
The huge surge of interest from the Far East is still without doubt wonderful and yes it is true that we have taken a supporting partner from the world of Brewing Beer on board. If you need to know who, go check out the web site at www.f1hoverpodracing.com and seek out the partners link.
Finally, yes we did win the joke competition at the Sun Newspaper to which Gaunty gave us two tickets to the Cheltenham Festival and I for one wish to say a “Big Thank You” for the kind and wonderful day out. “It was just was needed”.
All the best

ProgressPosted by Team Manager Wed, February 10, 2010 19:22:25It’s been a long and very hard winter here in the North of
England and despite the experts constantly telling us about global warming, it’s
snowing outside and I’m freezing.
However, I understand our supporters and friends in
Australia are suffering a heat wave in Perth. “I have no sympathy as I’m sick
with jealousy”.
Here at F1HP the progress and start of the year often gets
off to a slow start and we are no exception. However it’s good news on the fan
blade developments and whilst I’m under constraints not to say too much, we
have some news graphics being produced to which will be posted shortly on the
web site and form part of the new brochure.
I wish to thank you all for pointing out that www.f1hoverpodracing.eu and www.f1hoverpodracing.org had not
been working, whilst I’m not 100% sure, I am informed there were some problems
with the server and all will be fully functioning by the end of this
week............ ”I hope” !!!.
I did make a promise that I would keep you informed of the
progress in regards to the liable comments on the internet, I understand now
why they who are alleged to be posting them are so worried about their own
future, see below.

It is my understanding that the customer who carries the vendetta
against these people were well known to them and are now suffering from the
experience of buying from them. Both Steve & Andy lost their business as a
direct result of the reliability and warranty of this company. However, our
research department has obtained a copy of the annual accounts and returns of
this company and the recommendation was “Not worth taking action” as they have
no assets and too many creditors. In total there is a deficit of over
£600.000.00 and no way of repaying the debt, as such it looks like a question
of possible trading illegally and I prefer to say let them hang themselves.
Keep the interest and comments flowing, they truly are an
inspiration.
